I had to do the same when I bought my last car.


It wasn’t new. I spent several months deciding what to buy, then I spent close to 2 months looking for a specific car, mileage & features.

I also wanted it certified from the dealer of the manufacture so I could get a pre-owned certified warranty.

At least weekly I was calling a rep at all 4 dealers in the DFW area. I even contacted several dealers as far away at Georgia. I even started negotiations on one in Atlanta, but it wasn’t exact & had more miles than I wanted.

I finally got a call that one just got turned in off lease. I was there when they opened next morning. While on test drive someone else was waiting to test drive & NO this wasn’t BS. I said right there I’ll take it.
