No one says, well, our conference would look better if damn Bama wasn’t always beating everyone. That’s the point. One dominant team doesn’t make a good conference look bad. The SEC still looks like a really good conference every year.

I’d say a bad conference made VT look good. I mean, subtract out the losses to VT that ACC teams had in 2004, 2007, 2008, and 2010 and the conference still looks bad.

Didn’t we win the ACC in 2008 with an 8-4 record? I mean, lol.
