We still need to be ambitious in recruiting. Otherwise, let's just recruit all 2-star players since we're pretty much guaranteed to land them. I don't buy that argument. On the flip side, you're right in that we can't compete with the out of state schools taking our guys. Penn State, Clemson, UNC, Ohio State - they've owned the state of Virginia in terms of taking top talent, so we have to pick from the rest. I still think we can get back to recruiting at a high level, but a bigger recruiting staff/fund would be the best way to get there.
