The question could be reversed - ND wins reg schedule Game in November

And loses in the ACCCG. They would have been hurt not helped by conference membership, solidifying those who want to revert to independence. Hard to envision a win over Clemson other than at home hopefully in snow🤞
There are way more compelling arguments for joining - rivalries would build, the conference affiliated officials have been more even minded, ESPN and other talking heads have been way less in attack mode, ND is able to be a leader as part of the ACC team than as the lone wolf. The low quality of our ACC opponents so far this season has not helped the argument.
