excluding themselves as the the sixth, of course. I was looking at in terms of the path to a top 2 position for VT. I know it was premature on several fronts but I am fan and can’t help it. I saw that even if VT plays perfect from here on out and loses to Clemson I don’t see a top 2 finish unless ND has a surprising loss or two. Not a huge deal because VT has their shot at Clemson at the end of the schedule anyway in Blacksburg with hopefully a full squad.

Anyway, yeah, would have been better for ND to have a tougher schedule this year to make it more interesting for fans. VT and Miami were preseason ranked And not scheduled. I’m sure the ACC office barely gave this stuff a thought and just aimed for minimal schedule disruption despite everything being turned upside down anyway.
