and the rest of the B12 being sent to the other remaining P3. The TV folks want more rivalry games in the regular season like the SEC has, in other conferences, they also want the sport to pull ratings across the whole country, not just the Southeast. In addition they want more P4 games when that happens (eventually 9-10). You do that by making your Quad games and crossover Quad games mean more. You can lose the out of Quad and Quad crossover games and still make the Conference Championship. Yes, it will be the 4 Conference Champions eventually in the playoff.

Now back to the PAC 12, as you have said HOO86 they blew it by not signing with ESPN. ESPN wants college football. Bottom line is there is a very good chance that the B12 adds teams from the PAC 12 now instead of the other way around. I think that is probably 50-50 right now, if not 60-40. Just a few years ago I could not manage saying that. The PAC was in the cat bird seat and Larry Scott may have just buried the whole conference as we know it.
