true that they are playing in the NFL's minor league system and it's also true that colleges care more about making football/basketball $$ than they do about player safety. I think that's an indisputable fact now. Doesn't mean we don't want to watch football or basketball, but to keep "pretending" otherwise at this point is ridiculous. It was actually kind of silly to even think that way "before" we had this pandemic. Also, colleges that put their players in bubbles have managed this better than those that have not kept their players in bubbles thus far, and I think that will continue to play out the rest of the season, and ditto for basketball season.
