Maybe not- it seems like there’s a few days delay, at least in some cases-

If exposure occurs on a Thursday, or at least a Thursday night, my guess would be that it might not show up in a Friday test. The player is actually positive on Saturday and plays. The stress of the game play then causes immune weakness and player gets sick that night. Meanwhile, there is a possibility, that player might have shared positivity with others during the game.

I think that’s why B10 and P12 were pushing for rapid testing. Then, the test might occur several hours before the game in order to ensure the highest level of accuracy.

In any event, some players might get sick and not play a game or two. They get better and build up antibodies, and hopefully will be immune for the rest of the season.
