Dave Winfield story


I knew an older guy years ago who played on the same club (okay, club is not the right word. American Legion?) team as Dave Winfield and Paul Molitor back when they were all in high school. Can you imagine being on a team with two future Hall of Fame players? Anyhow, he said easily the best athlete of them all was Dave's brother. But Dave's brother was more interested in the ladies than working at the game.
