Trivia: "Porky's" was the No. 6 - grossing film of 1982, at $105 million.

Porky's made more money in ticket sales than:

Arthur
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
Poltergeist
Chariots of Fire
Conan the Barbarian
Fast Times at Ridgemont High

For me, the most surprising fact is that Porky's made four times as much money as Fast Times at Ridgemont High: $105 million vs. just $27 million. Fast Times is a quotable classic. Porky's is largely forgotten and almost never talked about.

For that matter, the horrible Porky's II: The Next Day, released in 1983, made more money than Fast Times: $33 million.
