just got back from an hour walk to burn off the adrenaline.

For some strange reason, I had watched three of the Thiem matches: Allassime, De Mineur and Medvedev, figured Medvedev would be the big match, Zverev would be anti-climatic. so I guess I had a rooting interest although I have nothing in common with the way he plays, just kinda fascinated how he takes the ball deep and just really sets up and hits a cannonball.

Anyway, yeah, both serve for the set, get broken, 6-6 tie-breaker, holy carp. All after five sets. That was painful both ways.
