I have played SOW.


Same developer as the Take Command series from back in the day. I personally think Take Command: 2nd Mananas is a superior game with the proper mods. But yeah, SOW is good.

Haven't tried Ultimate General yet, but I will at some point. The developer was a big-time modder for the Total War Series on their forums. He made something called the Darth Mod for Empire Total War and turned a game that was an absolute disaster into something that was pretty good. He did amazing work with the AI.
