The Big 10 response to date is offering a lot of food for thought about how conferences and schools need to communicate surrounding the pandemic and return to operations. The need for transparency is certainly important, however, the need to share info while not shooting yourself in the foot from the standpoint of mitigating risk associated with litigation is also a very real and valid concern. Warren has badly fumbled his first high profile task as Commissioner and it may prove to be a mortal wound before all is said and done.
