I chuckled at the line about Big Ten’s motive but I

can see why some would think that. Seems a little bit overthinking (“we’ll take half the money and ditch some long-standing games that WE chose, just so our teams can travel far away to play a steady diet of teams in a maligned eastern conference that we hardly ever chose to play before the forced 5 games”) but I am just an outsider and understand I have a different mindset. I just look at ND past schedules and find a serious lack of ACC and eastern schools when not forced to. West and mid-west scheduled more than South and East.
