I believe BYU was in condideration a few years back, but the school

has a written policy forbidding its athletes from competing on Sunday. This presents a scheduling challenge for a lot of sports, especially sports that participate in weekend tournaments. Football would probably be the easiest sport for scheduling. Over the years BYU has been all over the place with regard to conference affiliation. I could see them joining B12 for some sports and be independent for some and find an accommodating conference for others.
