If safety is the issue, what about the general student population?


As Chris put it in another post today:

"So let me get this straight...

University presidents are concerned enough about the effects of COVID on athletes to cancel sports, but to this point they aren't as concerned about the effects of COVID on the 46,000 students who will be converging on Happy Valley over the course of the next few weeks to cancel in-person schooling?

It seems one does not fit with the other, at least not the way my brain works."
