I disagree

I'm quite happy where we're at. Excluding covid, which killed every independent's schedule except for ND's, I'm relatively happy where we're at. We've been scheduling a better home schedule, getting some 1-off payment games and our recruiting appears to have ticked up, though the on-field performance will ultimately bear that out. We also have a TV deal with CBSSN that puts everything on TV, versus that AAC schedule that, for us, likely put everything behind a paywall.
We did not fit in the AAC and our fan base was apathetic about those teams. I think for every sport except maybe baseball, we have put ourselves in a much better position to succeed. This includes football.
