I agree - the mass gatherings at games are the big risk. followed by...

...mass gatherings at game watching parties, in bars, etc. And then spreading the virus from there to home, work, and while generally out and about, and to people at home.

I don't know which stat's to believe, but I do believe the virus has a serious risk of some level above that which we are accustomed to. I think the people that are discounting it for whatever reason are wrong. I don't know whether to cancel the season, or have it and have it be voluntary participation by players and coaches, fans, etc. - Everyone has enough information to judge risks for themselves and live the consequences of their decisions.

If they have the season, I'll watch games from home. I won't be watching from stands or parties or bars, etc. And I'll be distancing more so than I am now because I think the virus will be more widespread as the season progresses. Good thing I've become addicted to deer season. Makes it REALLY easy to socially distance out in the woods, up in the deer stand.
