The engine might be ok. But older cars with that level of mileage will


have all sorts of annoying and expensive repairs besides the drive train. If for no other reason then the plastic and rubber starts to disintegrate after a while.

Here's some of the things I've replaced on my Corolla with 200k+ miles:

Power window regulator (several)
Door handles (several)
Weatherstripping (doors, windows, sunroof, trunk)
Sunroof switch
Seat belt retractor
Hood release cable
