No, Trevor Lawrence is an idiot. Social distancing, wearing masks, & wash

hands people is how you minimize risk. Since you can't social distance while playing football or basketball, then you inherently increase risk of getting infected every time you play. Duh.
Lawrence saying otherwise is just him wanting to play football, because he's a football player. We understand many want to play, which is understandable, they've worked hard to play the sport they love, we get that part. The question is can they do it safely at this time. All indications point to No. The logic of saying that if I don't go to a party with 100+people in the same room every day [football team practice/meetings/workouts/prep/games], then I'll just go hang out with my friends in smaller settings and not social distance and still get the virus is idiotic. Also, anyone can get tested if they want to, so testing is irrelevant (and football teams won't follow regular testing anyway for multiple reasons).

On the plus side, I finally got to write a post saying Trevor Lawrence is an idiot.
