Seems like the SEC wants its cake and eat it too.


I could possibly see an alliance for one season for TV. But ESPN will have a lot of open slots available anyway if the PAC 12 and Big Ten don’t play. So, there would be more TV exposure regardless of an alliance, plus more money to distribute.
