You are not interested in a serious answer but it could be done
Suppose that after playing Miami there is an outbreak on Virginia Tech's team of a strain of the virus that had no presence in Virginia but had great prevalence in Florida. There's 5 different clades and dozens of different strains of the virus in North America alone, there's enough genetic diversity to be able to track the spread of specific strains of the virus from one location to the next (this phylogeny diagram comes from nextstrain.org where it has a map that does just that).
