I don't understand how you can "feel strongly" that "no one knew how to deal with the pandemic". There were other countries that shut it down completely and they knew how best to deal with a pandemic. Many other countries also figured out much quicker how to handle this crisis WAY better than the U.S. has and many of those countries were hit by virus before the U.S. Our country has completely FAILED in many ways. Many people in this country did NOT adhere to social distancing, isolation, and mask wearing. And many americans still to this day refuse to do these simple things. The fact that people still argue over these simple safety measures almost every day online on a VT football message board says it all. I know we're united as Hokies, but we're divided as americans.
