article probably 10+ years ago regarding all the rain forest in Brazil being cut down to raise cows. The article was stating that if that same acreage was devoted to 'farming' iguanas, you wouldn't have to cut down the trees and you'd produce more meat per year than you do with cows.

Vague memory, but possibly even something about being able to take off the iguana tails, sell that meat....and they grow back? As I said, that part is a vague memory.
