I have a daughter returning to college as a Junior. We are trying to line up her school loans right now. She is excited about going back, COVID be damned. I have a father who can’t even walk and has lost his right mind because of Parkinsons, but because of COVID, no one will help but me, my mother, and my son and daughter. My sister and brother are cowering in fear and will not come around to help or visit. It is breaking my parents’ hearts. I shouldn’t judge my siblings, but I have no choice but to expose my parents when I visit them, get their groceries, take him to the bathroom, etc. I do wear a mask. I’m not trying to make light of your challenges and concerns, but we are all in the same boat. We need to face this head on, without fear (I do support mask wearing and social distancing).
