Oh, I've heard all I mentioned and more mentioned somewhere


I've just never heard (a) any attempt to add up ALL the costs and weigh them against the benefits, or (b) politicians, the CDC, or WHO talk about what a reasonable societal cost should be.

I get the sense we're probably spending $1M+ (maybe even $10M+) to save every life we're saving if anyone actually added it all up. Would we the people or our leaders have the same energy for shutting things down if the total cost was out there?
