Hokie pro golf - Week 32


With a major in the US and no alternate event, we have a light week for our Hokies this week.

Scott Vincent is playing the English Championship at the Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & CC, Ware, Hertfordshire, England. He is #208 on the Road to Dubai coming into this week.

The Korn Ferry tour is at the Winco Foods Portland Open played at Pumpkin Ridge GC. This is normally the final event of the regular season. but the season will continue until October. Drew Weaver and Trevor Cone are in the field this week.

Drew Weaver is #81 going into this week. This is his fourth trip to Pumpkin Ridge. He had 2 missed cuts and a 30th place finish in 2017.

Trevor Cone is ranked 117th this week. In his previous two trips, he has a missed cut last year and a 24th the year before.

Also keep an eye on Emily Mahar who is 24th halfway through the stroke play at the US Women's Amateur. Top 64 after tomorrow make bracket play.
