my kid is getting some interest from a couple of Patriot League schools for football. He still has 3 more years of high school, so he may get larger schools interested at some point. Seriously though, Patriot League school at 60K tuition a year, that's one hell of a deal/scholarship if you can get it. That's a ton of $$$.

I wonder if some of the guys making their demands are rebuffed if they will go quietly back to their schools and play or boycott as promised. If there are mass player defections at the P5 and G5 levels, does that open doors for more guys who are borderline FCS/FBS and D2 to FCS?

Would we as fans really care?
