You are very correct and I thought newbies
like Hanson and Nester did just fine. As you say, it’s not one-deep.
With a line that has this potential and a rising stud TE like Mitchell, it’s quite encouraging.
You get Hooker going w Mitchell and force a backer or safety to hang with him, you’ll force man situations for our wideouts and the run game will improve.
So, absolutely reason to be optimistic. I just think Mitchell is a key cog here that will help them with what he should demand from the opposing D.
You keep our front five mainly on their front four, I think we’ll be fine. If we can rotate (as you note two deep) things should be even better.
Only wild card I can think of - getting a bunch of critical down penalties.
