There is no debate that 4 and 5* players make or break hopes for conference titles and playoffs. There are a few exceptions, but they are few and far between.

I'm just surprised that none of our coaches are able to sell anything to get a 4* to commit. Teerlink can't sell his NFL experience? How about Tapp? I don't get it. Blacksburg appears to be a place where coaches come to suddenly underachieve on the trail, these days. Must be the whole host of reasons that we've all seen for so many years, which I had refused to believe.
