Lot of questions around Notre Dame and what happens after this year.

Fortunately I am in the know and can share some info here. Here is the official word on what will happen to Notre Dame football after this season:

- they will start each season highly ranked with an incoming recruiting class that is a bunch of highly regarded expert ranked recruits
- their QB will be a transfer student with some “personal issues” or outstanding warrants that caused his transfer from his prior college.
- the will start the season strong with NBC gushing about Notre Dame assuming their glorious past and ready to play again for a natty.
- they will likely lose 2 games in the month of September with one coming against a team with a .500 record. Their coach will be on the hot seat.
- the will go on a decent run with only a late loss against Pitt. They end up with 3 losses.
- their head coach will campaign hard that they should be in the discussion for the playoffs. NBC will fully support this.
- the bowl selection committee, wanting to avoid another Bama blowout of ND, will wisely select a team with actual championship credentials instead.
- fans of acc teams will swamp message boards with posts expressing outrage that ND will steal one of their bowl options. ND ends up playing somewhere between Dec 29 and Jan 3rd and is likely overwhelmed by an SEC team.
- Irish fans immediately take to the Internet to proclaim next year is their return to glory, stir of echoes, whatever.
- about min Jan their QB gets arrested or fails out and they set out on their next reclamation project.
- Rudy spends the offseason telling groups of 5 people how he could return the Irish to prominence. Irish fans denounce him stating he was just lucky to make that sack.
- they will refuse again to join the ACC as an all sports member because they have the perfect deal in place by getting all their football TV revenue and get the benefit of the acc in every other way. “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it”.
