That's just it. He just simply didn't play very many games in a Hokies

uniform, so it's hard to judge Farley vs the others. His career, in a nutshell:

1. Came in as a QB/WR, suddenly switched to CB, then immediately blew out his knee, season lost before it began.

2. As a redshirt-FR had a dynamite opener in the win @ FSU, then seemed to spend the rest of the season getting trucked by other teams' RBs (the Pitt game being the most seared into my memory)

3. As a redshirt-SO, was healthy and teams quickly figured out to quit throwing at him, so he didn't do all that much. I think he had a pick 6 vs Miami or GT. Then he abruptly sits out the UVA game and the Belk bowl, never to suit up again for Tech.

I know... I'm being oversimplistic and overly negative toward Farley perhaps, but looking back on his career I just don't have that many memories of him making big plays for the Hokies. Compare that to other CBs like D Hall, Flowers, Kyle... they just made huge play after play after play. Farley's probably gonna be a decent pro, but he just doesn't have a large body of work in Blackburg. IIWII.
