The other 12 teams rotate every year. In a 4-year period, you would play every team 3 times.. Notre Dame would be one of the two non-conference games. Fans want to play quality teams. Play 1 power 5 conference and 1 cupcake, if that is what they want. No divisions, best 2 teams by conference winning percentage play for championship. In an 8-year period, you would play every team 3 at home and 3 away.
