If ND does join as full member (unlikely), would the ACC necessarily need a 16th team? Can it move forward in future years without divisions like this coming year? Have the rules changed about how conferences can be set up to hold championship games or is this year an exception? Personally I think conferences should have the freedom to determine their champion any way they like. I think the ACC would be better if it were to play 9-10 conference games every year without divisions. The ability to play every conference school regularly is important. Twice every decade for some schools is ridiculous.
