If we had PFF back when guys like Stephan Virgil took leaps I would say it's more comparable. Farley clearly had physical talent but it was blatantly obvious he was new to defense.

I like Chatman and think he will be a really good player for us, but he doesn't have the same physical abilities to call upon and he came in with experience. Maybe a Waller-like transformation could've happened had we had an offseason, but we didn't.
