I got a few "ok" photos of Neowise last Friday from Blacksburg...

I should have gotten my camera out the previous weekend, but I was having fun with the kids and telescope, then we got four consecutive nights of clouds and/or rain (last Mon-Thurs). Neowise was much, much, brighter the previous weekend. I took these from a clearing in my backyard in Preston Forest on the north side of town (about 2500'). I'm just an amateur and did some long exposures (too long as I got some blur from motion from the stars) after playing with the aperture and iso for a bit. While there has been a significant drop in airplanes flying by, I had several go by and "spoil" a few shots. However, I'm including a few of those shots here. You can see streaks in two of the photos due to the planes, and you can still see the trail of one in the last photo. Of course, if you want to see good photos of Neowise, there are thousands online.
