It's about being part of the "team" and helping achieve the goals
of VT athletics. It's like practicing with a team but never allowed to play the game or know the results of the game, good or bad. IMO fans do not need excessive details, but modest briefings would be beneficial and more likely to further engage existing fans and incite those supporters still on the sidelines watching the action.
