He will be vilified for a long time by a lot of people, if it ever happens.

I didn't have "global viral pandemic" on my "Will ND ever join a conference in full" bingo card.

So, making bold, grandiose statements about always being independent no matter what would be extremely foolish on my part.

I don't want ND football to join a conference, but I won't commit hari-kiri if it does. I just don't think this will do it, though.

For me, I just don't think there will be a college football season in 2020 (and maybe not in 2021), so I have always thought these discussions were moot.

(I also enjoy this board and the VT football board. I moved to Mouth of Wilson, Va. a year ago when I retired, so VT has become my "ACC team". Thanks for putting up with my monotonous bullshit, guys )
