I don't think so because Vandy's stadium has always been small


Vandy did agree to add temporary seating to the stadium when the Oilers decided to relocate to Tennessee. However, that only increased Vanderbilt Stadium's capacity to 41,448 in 1998 (I think). FWIW it appears that is the largest the stadium ever got even when factoring in the rebuild and renovations. At some point Vandy reduced the capacity down to its current state of 40,550.
