I like RM as a special asst like the Jerry Kill hire. I think he will be beneficial in an OC QC role- I don’t know if he’d be allowed to go on recruiting visits and doubt he would be texting recruits on a daily basis anyway- which sounds to me what they need right now to combat the in-state recruiting competition.

They have some good coaches on staff- recently added Charley Wiles, Brian Mitchell, TM, etc. Their play should improve in the short term, but I think that they’ll have a greater problem with recruiting than even VT will, given UNC’s greatly increased focus on recruiting now.

I don’t see any of those coaches running around the state with the head of steam that the UNC coaches have.
