That Texas State was fake. The current Texas State use to be Southwest


Texas State University until the early 2000s, and the movie was made in the 90s I think. Mascot is the Bobcats.

I'm guessing someone from Kansas State must've been involved in the production, and had a chance to give a dig to KU and have them lose. :-)
