Aresco is qualified, but he's not much younger than Swofford.


I think he's mid 60s. It's the same with Jack Swarbrick, and Kevin White is about the same age as Swofford. Mike Kelly, who is mentioned, is current AD at South Florida and has previous experience in the ACC, is 49. That's closer to the target age. Ideally someone a little younger even than that would we desired.

One of the things that the next commissioner of the league will really need to focus on is keeping the Millennial and Generation Z generations excited about the ACC and spending their time and money supporting the conference. Someone with that vision, knowledge, and experience would be important along with media and marketing background. The Commissioner can consult with the older generation on what they think. They'll be around like Gene Corrigan was for Swofford.
