My opinion is that VT football reached its pinnacle 1999 through 2011. It’s not that we will not reach the performance success of those years again, I just think from a fan base perspective, those days are behind us. Things are different these days. People value different things and college football is not going to be a top priority. I don’t want to get into too much depth, but the world has not been the same since 2008.....especially for younger generations.
