Per her Instagram, Softball got a nice transfer today


Alexa Milius will be transferring from Central Connecticut. She missed this past season due to a preseason injury, but hit .374 with 18 RBI in 34 games as a freshman last year. She caught and played third base and will have 3 years of eligibility remaining.

And she is a true student athlete - according to her bio on the Stratford Brakettes, she has a 4.0 GPA and was her high school Salutatorian. She was not only All-State in softball, but twice in Filed Hockey. But she's not only tough on the playing field, she was also her school's homecoming queen!

Finally, she is also a U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar Athlete Award winner. She choose Central Connecticut over offers from Rhode Island and UConn.

Sounds like a solid complement to Mac.
