Of course laws restrict freedoms. There is always an ongoing debate about how much “collective good” should be valued (via constraining laws) versus how much individual freedom.
All I’m suggesting is that it doesn’t make someone a terrible person if they push back on a constraint or disagree with a recommendation. They may have valid reasons. You may disagree, but just because a government official makes a recommendation for more constraint (something government officials have great love of doing) or a medical expert suggests policies that are based upon nothing but concerns of physical health (which they are myopically focused on) doesn’t make it unreasonable to question or ignore the recommendations.
I agree all laws limit freedom.
