I dont see MY at VT for much longer (if at all) than Greenberg.
10 years would put him at 67. I think 2 full recruiting cycles can place VT on solid footing wrt roster management and make the transition to a new coach more seamless. If any of the current assistants were to stay around that long, I would be ok handing it off to them and continuing the system with a younger coach. That way you can gain some semblance of continuity during a coaching change, as well as keeping the program fresh.
VT is always going to be better served with a system coach, so a national search for the new guy might not be very fruitful (or may be short-lived)
