second fiddle to the football program and that any decent coach who might have been hired "years ago" would be gone by now because of it. Theoretically VT BB and CMY will now let bygones be bygones and the program, with some luck, will move on. I say "with some luck" due to ACC Basketball's ability to produce some of the best teams in the country every year and the demoralizing affect that this can have on the up and comers. Look at Dave Odom at Wake. He essentially bailed on the ACC because he couldn't get over the hump after Duncan and Childress were gone. We shall see.
