What we need first is a coach that will be there for awhile. Seth Greenburg averaged 19-14 over 9 years. Buzz Williams averaged 20-14 over 5 years. This would help a lot in recruiting. I do remember when Greenburg left that we lost Dorian Finney -Smith and Montrezyl Harrell. Finney Smith plays for the Mavericks and Harrell plays for the Clippers in the NBA. . Obviously, our roster this year along with recruiting were decimated because I do not think Buzz was here for the long haul. Mike Young is the perfect fit because he can coach, hire coaches, recruit and he is not going anywhere. Mike Young, like Frank Beamer loves Va Tech. he grew up in Radford. I have faith, that the brand of Va tech basketball will be elevated during Mike Young's time here.
