He was recruited by MY as a piece of the puzzle.

With his skillset he should offer MY more flexibility with his line ups. Situationally I expect a much different role for him than the role Nolley was thrust into as the only returning player MY had who could score the ball. All the available information and video I have found on Mutts doesn't suggest he will be used to take 3s but more on the interior to help set up the offense for our 3 point shooters to get open looks, for defense, and for rebounding and scoring close to the basket. He has some nice stats last year in the CAA to those regards but now we'll see how that translates as he goes against bigger and more elite players in the ACC. But averaging 8.4 rebounds in the CAA suggests to me that he is a natural rebounder, so hopefully we will see that part of his game translate in the ACC and other parts of his game evolve to the competitive talent level in the ACC. Also, good rebounders often prove to be good defenders as well, as the instincts of anticipation and quickness are similar.
