Coach is putting together the most talented team he's ever had. I don't think he had the opportunity to recruit this level of players at his last school. Now that he's in the ACC, he can build VT into one of the best programs in the conference...and the country.

I know that's a bold prediction, but who thought Tony Bennett would win a national championship when he first arrived at UVA. He knew what he wanted to do, and recruited players that fit his system. I'm hoping Mike will able to replicate that success. I'm not expecting VT will win a national championship in the near future, but we'll be in the hunt. I thought Buzz's last team was good enough to beat anyone "head to head" in the tournament, and wonder what would have happened if J-Rob was 100% before the tournament. Feel we definitely would have beaten FSU 2X (end of regular season, plus the ACCT). That's the first time I've ever thought we had a "puncher's chance" in the NCAA, and I think we'll be there in the next few years.

First step, become a regular at the NCAAT. Bottom line: if we can play in the ACC, we can play in the NCAAT.
